Splits and Shards

This is one of two works I created for school during a workshop of sorts - we spent three days at an "art academy" where we were assigned the task of painting something surreal using techniques like collage, grattage and décalcomanie. There were two prompts ("Imaginary Castle" (had to involve collage -> buildings) and "Elements"), but me being the rebel that I am I followed neither of them... um, well.
